My 2003 600 sportsman will not idle. What may be the problem

 

Will it just not idle at startup or like if you started it up then ride it for a while it still won't idle?

 

well if it dies right when you let off the throttle then you more than likely need to tighten your throttle cable. the adjustment is on the handle bars...pull back the rubber slip and tighten it just enough so it idles at the recommended rpm...just a thought...look in your owners manual for the procedure....
