Default scram 500 stalling in reverse

I have a '00 scram 500 4x4, and occasionally when moving the gear selector into reverse while the engine is cold, the engine stalls out. If I hold in the reverse override while shifting to reverse, it'll stay running. Once the quad is warmed up it's fine. Any one else have this problem?

Default scram 500 stalling in reverse

I have to use my reverse over-ride button regardless of whether it has warmed up or not.

Your reverse override is bad.If you wont be bothered with it not working pull the front nose piece off ,find the reverse limiter and unplug the BLACK wire. You will still need to hold the button in to have 4x4 in reverse but it will disable the rest of it.
