Well, the only thing about an aerosol can is do you really want a pressurized can strapped somewhere in the bike, especially close to a heat dept.? I was thinking of a straight type fitting with no check valve to go in place of the original injector. CED, I dont think hooking up with the original carb would do much good. You know how it takes about 20-30 seconds when you purge to start getting the regular gas into the motor. By then you could have done some real damage. Going straight into the manifold would be the absolute best.

I bought a petcock to use on Dana's R out of a parts unlimited book. It had 1/4 fittings with one coming straight out the back and the other coming off of one side. It also had a nut to hold it in place on the front. That would probably fit where the original choke cable came through the dash. Mount the small bottle behind the headlight, into the petcock, then down to the manifold. It would be right there handy to turn on if there was a problem. It has a small arm that gives a sweep of a 1/4 turn.

Bubba,

Let me get this straight .....

We can fly these things 70 plus ,, but ,,, OMG !!! No aerosol ??

Why ,, that is just to dangerous !!! :-) Just playing Bubba , all in fun ...

I like the aerosal because a pill bottled tank will need a vent to allow the contents to go where ya want it too . I just thought a spray bomb would get rid of a problem . (having to vent a little tank)

I think a good dose of WD 40 would quench a runaway motor with no damage .

Keep talking ,, we'll come to aggreement ..

Rick Ritter
