It seems these 10 year old Yamaha people are coming in here starting stuff again. Yamaha isn't a bad brand, but people like you make others think they are. Most people that bash another brand have no way to back what they are saying up. You are no different. They are also trying to cover up a bad choice that they mad. Wouldnt the blaster be a pretty good competition in the value department? What about the sub 3500 dollar 250 quads?

look im not tryin to bash polaris, there my second favorite brand of quads. but tell me, look at the pics of the pheonix, it looks like a raptor 90 with a blaster nose, its a 200cc 4 stroke!! theres an old saying, u get what u pay for, im not saying the blaster is the best quad or even near it, but i can say with all honesty, ITS BETTER THAN A PHEONIX. and the pheonix is an automatic, shaft drive.
take a look

The Phoenix isn't even really ment to compete with the Blaster. There to totally different animals. What I'm saying is you can't tell which one is better by some pictures. It may be bigger than you think in real life. I guess what I mean is don't pre judge it before you see the real thing....

thats all i was trying to say. im not sayin the pheonix is a terrible quad or anything along those lines, i was just stating i couldnt see a 200 4 stroke that weighs 395lbs being compared to a 200 2stroke with a manual clutch.

I guess you can't beat that cheap Tiawanese labor. I hate to bring up such a topic, but it's kinda dissapointing to see American companies outsource products overseas. To think it's actually cheaper to have a product made overseas then shipped halfway across the world, where it still needs to have plastics installed, is actually cheaper! That's some damn cheap labor!
I know it's designed to be a youth/beginner quad to compete with the Grizzly 125 and the Quadrunner 160, but like you guys said, I hope it doesn't turn out to be a big POS. The reason I bring up the Taiwan thing is that I hope this thing doesn't look too cheesy in person, as most Tiawan products do. In order to be a value king they have to cut cost somewhere.
