I went out riding today and I hooked up with a guy on a 99 Sportaman 500. We had a great time together riding. After having read these BBS for awhile I was very interested in how well we would do against each other. After we consumed a 12 pack, I asked him if he wanted to try and pull against each other. He said "sure". So we did. It was pretty much even, except that the delay before his front end hooked up was enough that I beat him on every try! So I don't even want to hear about the Polaris and its superior drive design. We were using a 20' nylon tow strap. I have to admit that after reading all the BS from the Polaris riders about anything other then Polaris, I felt vindicated!
PS. We had a great time together, and this doesn't explain all the riding we did, but I felt it was worth mentioning.

Read this article https://atvconnection.com/atvconnect.../nyatvpull.cfm and see if you're still confused.

Real life and pretend are two different things. Like the difference between theory and practice!

I would be confused if I CONSUMED A TWELVE PACK AND THEN WENT 4 WHEELING. Not very smart riding under the influence.

Make that a six pack, since we both drank it. Plus we were done riding, you know, back at the rig and unwinding. Don't try and use drinking as an excuse for the fact that I beat him. I'm not hacking on Polaris, just answering a ton of "questions" presented by non-Polaris users as to why they think they are king sh*t! The answer is, they aren't! We all ride good quads!

Grizz:
I've wondered myself about that little rearwheel slip/front engagement thing while in a pulloff or sled pulling, however I think maybe you would have received a little better response had you left out that little 12 pack tidbit. However, you are right about one thing-we all ride, therefore we all have great machines! There is no one perfect machine, they all have pluses and minuses, each one suits each person differently. With the polls coming up, instead of fighting each other about issues such as these, I think we'd be better off fighting as a whole against the one (Gore). Should he be elected, all our "awesome" machines could very well be looking awesome in our garages. Then what-"Well, I used ta could!"

Just a thought.

Just wanted to be honest. Lends a bit of credibility to what you say. Or at least thats my belief.
