Polaris Customer Service stinks
Ordered a Front Rack for my '05 700 EFI on 10/24, site said 'in stock'. On 10/28, got the rack in, but it was a Rear Rack, not the Front. So I contacted Customer Service, they said they have to send message up to 'Head office', would respond in 4-5 business days. So after 5 business days I contact them again. They said they haven't heard back, would query to find out what is going on. So 3 more days go by, I contact them again....still nothing. I ask for a supervisor or manager. They tell me to call back during normal business hours and give me a supervisors name. I talk to her Tuesday, she apologized and said she would put in an 'Urgent' request to the head office and 'promised' me that she would contact me by the end of the day.
No contact from her. I called them again this morning. The woman that answered this time gave me the run around. Then she said she talked with Dawn Taylor the supervisor and has a status. But the thing is, I was never on hold, so they must sit close to each other or something and passing notes around. She said that Polaris shipped me a 'Rear Rack'. I said I hope they didn't....she said 'what'. I told her thats what they shipped the first time, I ordered a 'FRONT RACK' not a 'REAR RACK'. She said she would check, but her paperwork shows they shipped a 'Rear Rack'.
I asked how hard this can be?????????????? I asked for a phone number at the Polaris Head Office that they send this request do, she said she would not give me a number, that there isn't one. Bull$hit. I can't believe this whole thing... I just want the damn $69 Front Rack that I ordered.

WOW ... i had not trouble returning the wrong skid plate they sent me. All the return paper is in the box all you need is a RMA number, got the credit on my credit card within days. They also didn't have the correct part for me either, sent me a skid plate for a 700 not a 500.

Customer service sucks i bought my 04.5 sportsman at the dealer that i got the best price from almost $900 cheaper than my local dealership long story short when i had a problem (bad batt) the local dealer flat out refused to look at it said i had to take it to the dealer i bought it from i called and wrote polaris the letter i got back basicaly said they could care less even though they told me on the phone that i could have it repaired at any dealer and my local dealer was wrong. So as far as im concerned Polaris cust service sucks
