does anyone one know if the 2001 tie-rod ends fit on the 99 scrambler 500? I asked my dealer but of course they did not know if they would or not. They said the 99 ends are cheaper an just as good(yeah right) At that point I said thanks anyways and left. I have read about people making there own heim joints but I am not a mechanic and would perfer a bolt an fix.

 

i would have to say yes..if there 1/2 by 20 thread they should fit..i heard buying tie rods and the parts seperately is cheaper than buying the kit that polaris has,dont ask i dont know why..make sure you buy the bolts and hardware to as the tire end of the rod is an eyelet and not a ball and socket like the ones you have now..if there not special order you could always return them,def. worth a shot

 

Yes they will fit. When you order the "99" ends it will sub to the "00" and "01" end kit. Don't bite though. Order the individual parts, its cheaper than the kits. Been discused on this forum many a time.
