I'm sure some speedometers are more accurate than others, but the Arctic Cat speedometer is full of crap!!! When I had the stock tires, I clocked it by driving behind it in my truck. It would do about 50mph. I used a GPS to do it after adding the 27" tires and it would do 51 and touch on 52 from time to time. Now the speedometers tale of the tape.... With the stockers, the speedometer would read about 57-58. With the 27", the speedometer would read 54. Both are way off.

Talk about way off, we GPS'd the 454 that day too. Its speedometer would show 59 and the GPS would show 50-51. Thats a huge difference.

Odin, I would like for them to mail me one for that price. Problem is, I am a Cardinal fan, and I remember the Twins in 87 going totally insane with the homeruns. After that, I don't think I could buy a quad in Minnesota. Just joking there. Whats the temperature like up there. Its been over 100 for like the last month down here. Hotter than the hubs of hell.

Ok, I want to jump in this conversation. You guys are making me very hungry for a new HO. My wife finally broke down as said we could get another quad late winter or spring. She rode my trailblazer and loved it. The new machine is going to be one that can work as well as play with the Trail Blazer. Now that I have the bug, that SP sounds like it will be my machine.

Green SP500 HOs are the most expensive

Red SP500s are the second most popular at times $100 less than a green one.

Yellow 500s are up to $200 less than the green in our area. (only ones in inventory at some stores)

All three are the same down here. The yellow was higher at one dealer (rip off joint) when it came out, but the new has worn off of that now. Only the special editions are more expensive, which is obvious so why did I even bother typing that.
