Default Trailblazer 250 - Snow Blade

I have a Polaris Trailblazer I would like to order a Snow Blade for the front. I would like to use it for light plowing instead of a shovel. Anyone have any idea's or suggestions on where I can get one, or will I have to weld one on my self.

Thanks,
Ron Kramer

Default Trailblazer 250 - Snow Blade

Hello rrkramer. I also have two Trailblazers. I picked up a Honda blade at an auction for a little over a hundred (can't remember exactly). I just finished making a mount for mine. It bolts on top of the frame between the two front lower A-arms. It is made with a 10 inch 3/8 inch plate that I welded a 2x2 cross piece that holds 3/8 inch thick vertical flat iron that extends down though the A of the a-arm with quick disconnects for the plow. I made the mount this way so that only a small portion of the vertical supports extend below the bottom of the quad. I bought chains for the rear wheels at Tractor Supply for $50 and a few dollars extra for the chain spring tightener thingees. I have still yet to figure how I am going to lift it. I haven't decided if I would make a manual lift or buy a winch. I have been looking at the wheel weights at either lowes or Home Depot (can't remember which). As soon as I get it finished, I will try to post some pics.
I hope this helps you.
