stock it is a great quad to begin on and its a great quad to grow with because it can be built to run with much larger quads......but stock it is probably the slowest of the 250 class and its slower then a 200cc blaster because of the weight.. i got one and dont regret it because it has been trouble free and ran strong day in day out. plus they are alot of fun to mod and can be made considerably faster with alot inexpensive kits...

Hello mudslider. My wife and I each have 2004 Trailblazers and we are very happy with them. The interesting thing about these quads is that they are as large as many utility quads. This allows them to have a much larger suspension travel than most every small sport quad and small-mid size utility quad. Its larger size also allows it to have bigger tires than most every sports quad. There are few quads that have a smaller turning radius, as a result it has no problems manuevering on the worst snakey trail. And I can't think of a sports quad that has its strut suspension. It is difficult to compare this quad with the less expensive utility quads like Recon, Rally, Bayou, Bruin 250 and such because it is sports quad like and it dwarfs them and they typically have manual shift transmissions (except the rally). It is difficult to compare it with the smaller sports quads like the suzuki 250, Phoenix, Blaster, 250ex ect, because even though it looks like a sports quad, it dwarfs them. It is as big as the largest sports quads DS650 and KFX700. It is difficult to compare it with the mid-size utility quads like Praire, Magnum and Bruin 350 because they are typically much more expensive. Its best competitor is its four stroke powered big brother the Trailboss. If you like a bigger sports quad with a plush suspension, automatic transmission and a relatively low price, you can't beat it.
I hope this helps you.
Bryce
