anyone ever been there and what is your opinion? Im going there this Saturday with my son and 2 others 9/9/00. Looks nice on their page. I went to check it out about a year and a half ago while passing by and it wasnt quite finished yet. Hope it is worth a 3 hour ride and 25 bucks each. Thanks for the replys. Will post the pictures soon on my home page.

We got to Big Boulder Jack Frostafter a 3 hour ride. This place was set up nice 3 tracks, beginner, intermediate, and expert. They are nicely maintained watered to keep dust down etc. They also have 3 enduro trails 3 mile, 5 mile. and a 10 mile. Well let me tell you ENDURO is the word. We did the 5 mile one first then the 3 mile and I was beat. They dont call it big boulder for nothing, 5 miles of watermelon sized rocks everywhere, My arms were numb, one hour 15 min to go 5 miles, fastest portion of the trail I hit 7 mph. All I can say been there done that. Almost thought I made a wrong turn and wound up in the Bronx again. I have to add that the four other people that went with us rode new ranchers and they hated it also.
Just thought I should warn others before they make the ride that I did and wind up dissapointed.

I live fairly close to Jack Frost & Big Boulder. I ski there, but have never ridden there. I am about forty five minutes away from the mountains.

It is tough riding, but some people are into that (me!) I did the 10 mile first up last time, then the 5 mile loop. It made me wish I had done the 5 first. You can do better than 7mph, gass it and stand up!
