hope you got insurance on them. what sucks is for us as owners cause we work hard to have our toys then some punks have to come along and start stealing what isn't theres. I would be putting a motion light up at the shed and bar up the windows. my wife says I should figure out a way to put an alarm on our 12x12x12 shed.

Well hopefully you didnt touch the items too much and the cops can lift some fingerprints...also go around and talk to the parents to see if anyone is missing a bike

wow.... makes me feel kinda unsafe....
well our neighbors have a fence that leave like a 8 foor space inbetween the side of our garage and htere space and we keep our boat, four place sled trailer, and our 4 quads sit right there unlocked no protection with the keys in them and have done this for four years with out any problems. we also leave both our blazer and ford truck sit in the driveway unlocked with keys in them, two much crap in the 2 place garage for the vehicles haha.

I do have them all insured. I am now alarmed and have bars up. A wireless motion detector will trigger an alarm system in the house. Nobody will get in without me knowing it. The shed is also at the end of my driveway, so the truck is now parked close enough to the doors that no ATV can be pushed out. Also added a lock to the outside of the doors so it can't be opened from the inside. Think I got it covered now, but I will probably chain them to the floor for added security.

Everywhere I've lived previous to New Mexico I had no concerns about theft. Just wasn't an issue. Now I have to start thinking differently. Seems that ATV theft is up everywhere though - suppose we all need to think differently.

Thanks
