Default Sporstman700 losing power (bogging out) @ higher RPM's

I have an 03 700 w/ a clutch kit and a silencer. Not that many miles in her. I was riding lastweekend and it just started to bog out on me. I am able to slowly accelerate upto about 35 MPH and then it will bogout again. If I lay the hammer down it bogs out immediately. Now, after riding I realized me carb. bracket was busted. I have replaced this and checked the intake tube out of the carb. and everything appears fine. .Actually the carb and everything it is connected too still looks like brand new .I dont know whats up at this point. Any advice would be great

so when you say bog out what does it do? start to sputter or something?

will it kill it if you lay the hammer down off the line?
