Default Scrammy 500 smoking and ticking

I am trying to get info for sombody else on this topic. He says that he hears a ticking noise at idle and that it will smoke after going down hill. Clears up after a few minutes of riding on level ground. Compression is at 115. Does this seem low for a 500 4-stroke? Also he checked valve clearance and says it is good. Smoke appears to be blue in color. What could make it smoke only while going down hill? Thanks for any help. I wish I could give you guys more info than that, but it's all I have. Any Ideas?

The ticking at idle could be his primary clutch buttons being worn and causing the clutch to rattle. The smoke could be oil getting in the airbox from the engine vent line.

If thats the case, (oil in the airbox) what could be done? Check valve inline?

Have you had the 4wheeler turned over in the past few rides?Or up steep hills? Check the airbox and if oil is there clean it out and change your filter.See if that helps.

Sounds to me you dont like to do maintanance on machine. I have had many Polarises and loved every one of them would never think of trading for anything else.
