A buddy of mine just got a 05' TLD predator, that thing is fast!!!!!well, we had a drag race. I had my DVX, and my buddy had his 416 (missing some teeth on the sproket) and there was another dvx, two stock 400ex's, and a YFZ 450 (pipe and razor tires). and then the Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word tor (pure polaris/WB slip on) i wasnt toooo far behind, but the predator and yfz 450 were going at it, and the 450 had it for about 150 yards, untile the predator got into, 5th gear... then it was all over! the predator won the drag race! congrats on a fine machine..

 

how fast was top speed and what type of surface were you racing on?

 

Results may vary....... though it's one of the fastest quads out there.

Was riding mine after some jetting issues and polished the grab bar today... only the second time.

 

not sure of top speed, but the ground was frozen that night and was starting to thaw out around 11am saturday morning, it was a bean field, slightly uphill.

 

Get the Feb. ATV Rider, they have a great write up "12 hour test" and say some great things about the Predator, very fast and durable.
Surprised a couple pros.
