Polaris has the Gun Boot IV for $59.99....which is made by Kolpin.....I picked mine up at Sportsman Warehouse for $39.99, which I thought was a great deal, then I went to Walmart this week....closeout....$25. Even though Walmart sucks when it comes to gun sales, etc...i.e. they stopped selling handguns, etc., they sure have some good closeout deals....

I picked up 3 Ruger M77 Mark II's from Walmart a couple of years ago, one was blued with wood stock, other two were stainless synthetics.....I got a .243, 270 and .30-06.....$250 each.

 

The problem with Walmart's handgun policy is not Walmart's fault, but with the lack of legal tort reform. Which we'll never have, regardless of how or who talks about it, because most of the nation's Senate and House of Representatives are lawyers. As long as some schlep can buy a handgun, take it home and kill his wife and all their kids, and Walmart still get sued for wrongful death, then there's no point in anyone trying to sell a handgun. And the bigger you are, the deeper your pockets, the more likely you'll become a target of a lawsuit.

Anyway, now that I'm off my soapbox, Walmart almost always beats competitors prices on their merchandise. If they ever start selling Hondas, watch out, cause I'll be lookin' to buy!!!

 

you are exactly right RancheRider... walmart sells for cheaper to keep buisness down for other companies, when the other companies have to raise their price to make enough income walmart raises theirs just a bit so its still cheaper then the compition but they make more moeny

 

Walmart sells handguns in all there stores up here in Alaska and they have some great prices on most guns. Just this week I picked up a Left Handed Remington 700 with the laminate stock and a stainless steel action and barrel in .338 Rem Ultra Mag for $458!!! The Remington MSRP was $900.

 

Do they stock any sw1911's?
