Most annoying Sportsman part.
#1
I've discovered a part on my Sportsman that really pisses me off. It's those 2 wire fasteners that hold the plastic "hood" down to the body. Anytime that you try to remount the hood with the front rack in place, these fasteners drop out of there socket and land into the radiator area where it's impossible to find them.
I believe the engineer responsible for this design should spend eternity in hell mounting the hood over and over without loosing a single fastener. Geez.

Is it just me, or . . .
All posts on this topic are good, responsible, constructive, I think. I believe the discussion reflects the best part of the Forum--the good, along with the aggravating, should be discussed critically.
Not too long ago, however, if ANYONE posted anything REMOTELY critical of Polaris design, workmanship, construction, materials, or reliability, they would immediately draw a dozen "flame" posts and retribution attacks.
Don't get me wrong, I welcome the change. In the world according to me, no quad is perfect, and no quad is total junk. We can freely talk about problems and solutions, likes and dislikes, and profit from the experiences and ideas of others without "keyboard rage," a close relative of "road rage."
While I own no Polaris myself, I enjoy reading about other quads besides the one I ride; this topic is a good example. I certainly don't magnify one aggravating feature like the one discussed to represent the whole machine; every quad has annoying features conjuring up revenge fantasies against their designers.
