need some polaris sportsman 500 specs.

I have a 1996 polaris sportsman 500. Last weekend we went riding on a very wet trail, some parts very deep. The bike started missing, by the time i got home i couldn't give it more than 1/4 throttle without it bogging down.
I've cleaned the carb, fuel pump changed fuel adjusted valves and it still bogs down. before adjusting valves I had 75 lbs. psi. this seems low but my p.o.s. manual doesn't tell stock compression.

I know this is stupid, and if you cleaned the carb you have almost certainly done this: is the air filter wet? I got my 250's filter wet splashing in some puddles and i couldnt tell by looking at it, took me an hour to realize that the filter was the problem. Same symptoms, though, bogged down after about a quarter throttle.
