Hi everyone, i sent my 04.5 sp 600 in for service a few weeks ago because the throttle was constantly cutting out on me and it was impossible to use in any type of conditions where there was water. The dealer told me it was a bad stator. Well today i found out that polaris knows about this problem and they had to send out a whole new kit with a cdi box , stator and a few other parts. They said polaris was aware of the problem and they were just waiting to hear from consumers. I know alot of you had posted comments on your machines running rough and not starting properly. If you are still having issues with your machine get it in asap to get the warranty work done.

 

is this on all polaris atvs from 04 or is it just for the 600s cuz mine does that too when its wet

 

I could not tell you. They were not specific enough. They had to replace the entire wire harness as well from what they told me. I would make a call to the dealer or polaris direct because they didnt even know there was a problem that big until they called polaris to order the part under warranty.
