Homemade skid plates
#1
ok im goin to start racing harescarmbles next season and i really dont wanna waste money on skidplates. During a flood we had in 98 i found alot of road signs and i was thinking about using them becuase i think a stop sign would look good when i was ramping or riding wheelies. Would it be all that hard i could use any tips u could give me

Street signs here frequently have $1500 fines for their possession .
If you make your own , look at some others first . I have heard of folks making *ATV Pole Vault * accessories . What I mean is attach it properly , if it drops down in front you may go for a wild over the bars adventure .

If it is legal, I think a stop sign would work well. They are galvanized under the paint so they won't rust, and should be strong. Maybe a little heavier than needs to be, but would look cool.

PS good practical welding project. I made a coon trap back in my day.
