During a flood we had in 98 i found alot of road signs and i was thinking about using them becuase i think a stop sign would look good when i was ramping or riding wheelies. Would it be all that hard i could use any tips u could give me

sounds like a great idea. a sawsall would cut it, then clean it up with an angle grinder. and your right it would look good during a jump.

sounds good, wish I could have got into ATVing when I was 15, of course it would have been ATCing back then. I'm 34 just starting the sport and loving it. Good luck to you.

I just hope you don't get arrested for having city/government property screwed to the bottom of your quad.

Street signs here frequently have $1500 fines for their possession .

If you make your own , look at some others first . I have heard of folks making *ATV Pole Vault * accessories . What I mean is attach it properly , if it drops down in front you may go for a wild over the bars adventure .

Aren't street signs heavy though? My friend welded some under his old car a few years back so as to not fall out the bottom, through the rust holes!

If it is legal, I think a stop sign would work well. They are galvanized under the paint so they won't rust, and should be strong. Maybe a little heavier than needs to be, but would look cool.

PS good practical welding project. I made a coon trap back in my day.
