Default Lift Kit homemade spring spacers?

After readind old threads on homemade lift kits,i come to a conclusion...How in the hell you can increase clearance with spacers?I explain...If you put a spacer on bottom or on top of the spring i dont see how it can give you more clearance...The spring already make the shocks extend at full capacity,if the shocks are already fully extended even if you put spacers it wont lift? All i can see is it will put more pressure on the springs and also less suspension travel?

Spring spacers alone will not provide lift. They will remove sag out of old shocks, but not lift it. There are two other spacers involved in a real lift kit.

The spacers only push up on the springs. Springs are not sitting at their highest setting/level as you stated, they are sagged. Just go out and lift up on your front end and you will see what I mean. Your best solution is to buy a lift, you can get them for less than $100.
