2 problems?
#1
First, my neighbor also has an 02 sp700 and when we had it out in the field which had about 3 inches of snow in it, it was in 2 wheel drive and when he would hammer on it hard it would spin for about 20 feet and then there would be a loud clunk and the fronts would engage? wtf??? Any ideas, it has 5000 miles on it btw?? Second, my bro-in-law, also my neighbor, has a new 04.5 sp600 and when he starts it in the cold(around 15 degrees yesterday) it literally takes like 45 minutes to warm up enough that he doesn't have to run it with the choke half way out and stay idleing without dying. Also used about 3/4 tank of fuel in about an hour an a half worth of riding(maybe 20 miles), that's horrible my 700 has 76 miles on the tank and I still haven't hit reserve. any ideas??? His 600 has about 300 miles on it and about 3 months old. thanks, jayri

I'm from SD too. Where abouts are you at? As far as the 02 Polaris 700, have you changed the front differential fluid it may need it. If you have changed it, then it is probably the roller cage or armature plate in the front clutch. They have been having problems with them. The 04.5 600 I have heard here that there is a cold start update for the carb. It will take care of your brothers problems.
