Hello 67bullet. You are right, some modules do not allow ignition adjustment. However, seems that the "Power Commander IIIr" model allows ignition timing adjustment. Apparently "Power Commander IIIusb" can connect to an external ignition module to do the same thing. According to their site the IIIr is available for the Polaris 800EFI. So timing should be adjustable. I guess we would have to talk to the manufacturer to be sure.

The unit is the PIII USB....the USB means that it can accept additional modules. I don't know if they plan to...but they can add timing adjustments through the USB....currently you're just looking at fuel adjustments.....air/fuel adjustments...

 

I haven't looked at their site in awhile. I have the 04.5 700 EFI nad have not looked at any of the 800 Power Commanders.
I would like to install the 800 dual exhaust on mine though!!!!
