I have an month old 05 tld pred in shop right now, and they have no Idea what is wrong with it? they went though the hole carb today, clean it and put new gas in it and checked jetting, checked everything to do with the carb,, they said it was running good ,, I took to ride and it ran worse then when I took IT in??????? now at this point im a little pissed off,, to say the least... why do most people hate ploaris?
i havent heard anybody say they hated polaris. are you talking about hating their sport lineup? there is nothing wrong with their utilities i dont think. i think most all their utilities are pretty good and advanced. however i dont really care for quads like the scrambler or trailblazer. they seem like sport wanna be's. maybe cuz they are supposed to be part sport and part utility? shaft drive autoclutches with that gear selector ****. i dont think its too cool but some ppl like it. no offense to anyone but they kinda seem like they are made more for female riders. i dont know. i think the only REAL sport quad they have out there is the pred but it is a little on the heavy side, a little. i dont know. ppl will always have their prefs and go brand bashing.

I say same one thing....I had a Scrambler that most quads wish they could keep up with. I think the Scrambler is one of the best all round quads out there. You have a Blaster and here you want to say that the Scrambler was made for female riders. Come on man....get real. A Blaster is something I would buy for my 9 old daughter. Not trying to start a flame here.

Now, on the straight runs, or on the track, YES I would get beaten most every time, BUT... that is NOT how these quads are ridden most of the time... by most folks.
Trail Riding and Exploring leaves a lot to be desired with a "shifter" that has low ground clearance. I don't mean to say it is impossible or Not Fun. Just Not As Much Fun, as far as I am concerned. And yes, there are shifters with good clearance, but most pure "sport" bikes don't.
So, as you said, folks have their alliances. But having a shifter or not, don't make it a girly bike! I just prefer to "ride" and focus on the trail and the scenery. Not on what gear to hop over a rock with or take that hill with, or cross that river/stream with. (even though shifting is not rocket science!). I also ride a Raptor. So, I have my choice and I am not "stuck" with a girly bike!. I seem to find myself going for the Scrambler most every time, because of the type of riding we actually do.
There are 2 camps of riders. 1. Racing and Track 2. Trail and Cruising.
The camp a person is in, can lead to bashing of the other camp just for the fun of razzing somebody's riding style. In the end, as long as we all have fun, I think that's what counts!!!

When you ride a Scrambler 500HO, and the True Four Wheel Drive kicks in....Hang on.
As far as shifting goes, know that the auto is ALWAYS in the right gear, while the manual riders are TRYING to find the right gear. I never ever had a problem with H20 slipping my PVT.

spoRtRax450R, The question of Why people bash...you gave your opinion. I don't hold that against you for sure. You did make the maintenance jab at us Polaris owners. I'm quite sure it was sarcasm - and that's how I took it. It's all cool. I know people that have things they don't like, like you and your Polaris'. You should sell them off - I've been happy to buy things from people like you. Happy trails to you.
