You can find the instructions in the Features section of your owners manual under the Instrument Cluster part. You want to access the "Diagnostic Mode".

1. Turn the key switch off and wait 10 seconds.
2. Set the park brake and shift the transmission to neutral.
3. Hold the mode/reverse override button and turn the key switch on.
4. Release the switch as soon as the display is activated.

Use the mode/reverse override button to toggle through the diagnostic screens.

Your manual will take you through this procedure. You can get rid of that flashing wrench in this mode too.
