ur chain locking up coulda caused the tranny to break... or the tranny locking up coulda caused the chain to break.... ( i think this was said above) who knows.... and i dunno how ur dealer would be able to tell.... i find it odd that 3rd 4th and 5th r gone even tho u werent in any of those gears.... weird.
but anyway... i loved my pred... and i admit i still like riding them.... its just all the problems that come with owning one make it not worth it... i had bought a brand new quad so i wouldnt hafta fix it... then i get my pred and thats all i did.... fix it.
i am very happy with my yfz as many of u know and its had its problems... but not even close to what the pred has.

How's it going hozed.......long time no see!!!!!! Have you sold that pred yet??? Is it still "in pieces"??
I could see how he doesn't have those gears, the chain slapping the case probably caused the shift fork to fall out of place or something like that.......

the forks cant jus "fall" outa place they r where they r until they break...
and i was thinking... its impossible for ur tranny locking to make ur chain snap. if ur tranny locked up that means ur chain would jus stop...
