Why is the price reduced on the 2001 Xplorer 400s from 2000? Anyone know? What is a good deal on a new one?

For one thing they don't have the speedometer on the 2001. I think the rest of the xplorer is the same

2000 models were available in Minnesota for $4995 in most dealerships.

The 2001 does not have the pod headlight with speedometer and hourmeter
