400 Scrammy pipe...help me
Shawn, how's that Scrammy coming along?
On the pipe, I could swear that it was Mike that used to be at HPD that told me there was about 10mph on the change. Now honestly we all know that different conditions, clutching, and even wear on the clutches could all affect the end result. When I ported my wife's scrammy it picked up 3mph in 660ft (1/8th mile) at the dragstrip. It did, however accelerate there almost a full second faster. The pipe will help a lot.

Rick told me that he might have it done by this weekend or Monday. Man but that guy is busy!
Well I just never had that much of an increase in top speed. It's like around 65-68 mph stock. I just couldn't see it tipping into 80 mph range with just a pipe. But with the increased RPM's it does stand to reason that there will be some increase in top speed. I'm running the stock helix and weights so I don't know if that would have that much of a top speed effect. You're the mack daddy on clutching.

With mods im pretty sure you could go up some teeth and not notice any lose in acceleration, then the top end would be more fun!! Im still pondering about going with a full trail modded quad, i have pipe, clutch kit and airbox/k&N- i was thinking of porting,boring,head-work, v-force valves, and fly wheel lightening. Along with some other little goodies. Whats your guys' thoughts- duneaholic i know you pretty much run this setup, and bubba is very wise and knowledgable!
