800 exhaust on 600?
sportsman70003 and all,
I talked to Dave at Breese polaris and he said the 700 pipe is the same one off the 800 and that all the 600/700/800 are the same.
He also said no jetting is required but some fine tuning could be done. He said that they installed it on a 700 with a k&n and a pure/wb silerncer and didnt rejet and it added alot of low end and livened it up throughout (his words).
If wanted you could mod for the duals with some fabrication on the leftside silencer but since its a crossover and not true duals i'll pass on that and the extra weight. You would need to get the 800 silencers unless you wanted to do extensive fabrication to an aftermarket silencer or wait for it to come out in the aftermarket.

I am installing the 800 front pipe on my 04 700efi . The exhaust ports on the 800 are at least .250 larger in diameter than 700 ports. I was in the middle of wrapping the pipe with header tape when I decided I better take some pictures before its installed. I will run the stock muffler until I decide on an aftermarket slip-on.
By the way, the 800 air box snorkel lets the 700 breathe much better. I also enlarged the opening were the snorkel connects to the lid to increase air flow. This snorkel should fit on most sportsmans 400 thru 700. I think that once this air box mod catches on, the 800 snorkel will become a back order item.

800 exhaust on 600?
Cool Paul, Let us know how it does.
I still can't decide if I want to do much to my bike, If I was that concerned with performance I would have got a 700 or 800 instead of my 600. But I can't leave anything stock LOL. I just can't decide if 2-3 or less hp is worth $100, when I doubled the hp on my truck for $800. Guess I'm just to tight.

that header pipe looks sweet compared to the stock header. and the header tape paul700 was a very smart thing to do. I wonder how much different the exhaust would sound by adding the header pipe with the stock silencer. seems like it would have to have a better sound than a stocker and then with an aftermarket silencer I bet it would sound even better.
Hey paul700, let us know how the header sounds and if the mod was worth the money. I think I would actually be more interested in this header pipe with like the Polaris/white brothers silencer or another can than the complete 800 setup. first thing is first I need to get my new wheels/tires then I am going to be getting an exhaust for my quad.
