I was told its $40.
Need title, bill of sale and application.
You will need to pay sales tax if you did not pay to dealer. (show proof)

there is no title required for ATVs registered in MA.
if you bought a new ATV, the registry will require the Certificate of Origin when you go to register it so be sure to get it from the dealer at time of purchase.
the plate fee (reg fee) is $30 and there are no other fees.

You are correct, I meant cert of origin, but wrote title.
The person who I spoke to did say the fee was $40.

The price must have gone up, I paid $30.00 last year. I have to register my new SP 500 shortly. I don't remember what the cert. of origin looks like, if I even have it. I for get what paperwork I sent in when I registered my SP 400. I live in CT and I don't pay property tax on my quads. BART

If you bought the machine new, you'll need "FORM ST-6" (certificate of payment of sales or use tax for boat, recreation, or snow vehicle).
The dealer (most of the time) includes this with your paperwork/owners manual-- just make sure you have it with you (you know how aggravating state-run agencies can be... think RMV )
