AWD Problems

Default AWD Problems

AWD doesn't seem to be working. Checked all the fluids and are OK. Speedo is working OK. When in 2-wheel drive AWD indicator flashs . Diagnostics though the Pod shows power getting to the coils. What could be the problem? Or what next?

Have you changed the fliud it might have water in it. It also might be eletircal since it is flashing. maybe someone that had the same problem will chim in. Also welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the info I'll check front hubs for water and replace oil if needed thanks!!!

sounds like maybe water/moisture problem to me. oh and a second welcome to the forums.

Thanks for your reply. Just replaced oil in both front hubs and still nothing. At least I know now that part is OK. I ordered a service manual from Anderson Cycle today. Maybe can get other ideas in there. I live in Waterford, MI. Thanks again, rucky

Default AWD Problems

I don't know if the Sportsmen are the same or close to the Magnums but my Speedo was blink to show a "fault" in the system. Turns out my CDI box was fried and it would blow out the fan sending unit. With my CDI box bad the AWD was toast. Like I said I don't know is the Sportsmen is the same or close but it might be another place to look...
