Yep! I put springs on the pin between the pads, works great. No more brake drag[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

sounds like a plan. my dealer had concerns of if debris would be a problem between the pad and the disc, but i'm ready for peace of mind that its not taking 5hp to turn the front tires.

 

What is the problem? Is it on all predators?

 

Yep, all the Predators have this problem some worse then others.

 

What is "the" problem? I haven't noticed anything on mine.

 

They have a brake drag, pick up your front end and spin your wheel, and see how many times it will spin.

 

with the tire off mine, you can't turn the hub by hand. thats a bit much drag i think

 

I'm having the same problem with my '00 Trail Boss. Replaced Piston and O-rings, along with brake pads. They don't drag until you squeeze the handle the first time. Then the piston is pretty much stuck in that position.

Can the fix applied to the Predator be used on my TB?
