I have a couple of Polaris's. The old 1995 model needed a starter so I picked one up off ebay. Lots of great comments and feedback from other buyers so at about half the cost I decidied what the heck. A local mechanic put it on for me and all was well for several weeks. It got to where it would only click when I hit the starter button. I crawled under her today and pulled the rock gaurd off. Imagine my suprise when I found it was loose, not from the engine casing but the starter had seperated within itself. I would like to drop it off myself but am having a hard time finding the mouting bolts. Or is it bolt?
