Default What happened to zircs on the new models

My 96 Sportsman has dozens of suspension zircs.... the new models don't. What did they change, and how is it that the new ones don't require the same grease? Can you change over to the newer bushings and forget about the zircs?

the newer models use a so called "lubed" bushing. that is its supposed to have a lubricant made in them. tell that to the ones who have had to change them already. when you replace your orange colored bushings they will be the new black ones. no do not neglect greasing them. ive already installed zerks on many machines, because of squeaks and worn out bushings. ive also found the shafts inside the bushings seem to be wearing quite abit faster too. the dirt gets in, ya gotta get it out.
