05' 700 efi gear indicator problem

Has anyone else had this problem? On my 05’ 700 EFI when I shift into low the indicator on the dash says the machine is in neutral and the awd won’t work, but the machine is definitely in low. I guess the awd won’t work because the indicator thinks the machine is in neutral. When I shift into high the dash says I’m in low and the machine is really in high. Park, reverse and neutral work fine it’s just when I shift from neutral to low it says I’m still in neutral. I see the shift linkage goes back to the transmission and there are some wires that come out of the transmission just under where the shift linkage connects to. I’m going to bring it to the dealer I was just wondering if someone else has had this problem and had an easy fix for it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No problems here. Sounds like a simple adjustment to the linkage....

That’s what I originally thought, but I get the right gear it’s just that the machine thinks it’s in a different gear. I’m thinking it’s some sort of electrical problem. When I take it in I’ll asked the dealer what the problem was. Hopefully I won't have to wait forever to get my machine back. Thanks for the reply Dave.

Any update on this? What was the problem? What was the fix? I have a buddy with the same problem and hoping to find an easy, CHEAP fix.
Thanks
