Just wondering if any of you guys have the extended warranty. Where can you get one besides from the dealer and how much do they cost. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it is worth it. I have had the Polaristar from the dealer on both my last "new" ATV's.

Think of this as well? How long do you plan on keeping the ATV? On my 01 HO I had a 3 year Zero deductable that was transferable. I traded that machine in with 3 months left on the plan. The dealer was able to replace anything on the machine at no cost to me or the new buyer, plus the new person picked up the balance of the plan.

Remember there is a mark up on these so make sure your dealer gives you a good price. Remind him he will be getting the work at his shop!

In the past five (5) years I have replaced rubber bushings, tie rod ends, complete 500 HO motor 9 months old (failed oil pump), choke cable, speedo pod and so on. Some of the thing I may have let go if "I" was buying, but I was'nt!

For me it has been worth it because I ride 2000 + miles a year and thing do break.

Also keep in mind if you were a less than honest person and had two ATV's you would be surprised how many parts have the same numbers on different Polaris ATV's

Hope this info helps

M

I bought a 42 month warranty from this dealer for $620.00

You can buy it online.

I'm in Washington and this dealer is in California. Just to be sure I contacted Polaris to confirm that it had gone into effect. It was in the system. I just wanted some peace of mind for my 04.5 700EFI.

I bought the 48 month warranty for $390.00 for a 05 Brute Force. This warranty picks up when the 6 month Kawi warranty ends so I have coverage for 56 months.
