Phoenix 200 and LOADS of problems
Why would you not get a trail blazer instead of this. Am I missing something? It seems like the trailblazer 250 has been around and all the bugs are out of it. It can also be modded to really scream from what I have heard. So why would you get a Phoenix instead of a trailblazer 250?

The difference between the two is a 4-stroke versus a 2-stroke. Phoenix is an entry level quad, trailblazer is for the more experienced rider. Phoenix is physically smaller and about 70lbs lighter. Basically, trailblazer is too much machine for my wife and son.

Dear Phrode,
what could be wrong in this case is your local polaris dealer!
no final control before sell to the costumers, take off the exhaust which is nothing wrong with that and doesnt put that back properly.
your new quad exhaust still got some litte particle inside, and like also every new bike, quad, will burning and make a very noisy sound...thats normal, better you drive fast ,maximum speed for few minutes and lets the gas off...you will hear some BOOM..! but dont panic,do that again many times until your exhaust clean.BUT...dont drive to fast because your Brake broken!?!?!?...so...go to the dealer and say...give me your other quad...this quad is dangerous...or you will face my lawyer and you out of bussiness!!!!
My Phoenix run well till now,i bought her for 3 weeks and already 600km on tacho. This Quad are nice Quad, like I said, your local dealer is BZZZZZ!
O ya,dont forget...12 until 14 august 2005...quad and ATV meeting in St Gallen,Swiss.

It is CLEARLY stamped on the frame where this quad is made.
If you own one or can find one to look at you can see for yourself where it is made.
If your Polaris dealer tells you it is made in the USA he is a lying to you and he deserves none of your hard earned money.
Tell them to kiss your $%# and walk away and go elsewhere and buy anything but a Phoenix.

Well to clear up a few things... hehe! My Phoenix got stolen 4 weeks ago (thank God for that, and inshurance :-)
It seem my quad has been a real monday quad. NON of the other bikes that has been sold in Norway (or scandinavia) have had any of the same failiures that I had (so they told me).
I had problems with:
The battery charager (had to change some electrical thingy)
The discbreakes rear (calipter problems)
Carburator
The starter
The ignition
In the end all got fixed, and then it got stolen.. he he
Now I am the happy ovner of a Kodiac instead :-)
PS! Til deg som er svensk. Min Phoenix 200 gikk 70km/t
