I got the white spring, put it in but they did not have 20-58 weights,so I tryed that way, It bogged bad but took off alot stronger. so I had some 53.3 gram weights and tryed them and seems to rev alot faster. I will take it out saturday and see how fast it will go, I have never hit the rev-limiter befor so will see what happens. many thanks for your help.

 

I found a place where I could run and it pulls hard off the line with the lighter weights, but it goes to 45to 50 mph and tops out but never hit the rev-limiter.

 

MVD u gotta get 10/58 weights, not 20/58. the tens are way harder hitters.

 

Whats the difference in the 10/58 and 20/58?

 

SPORTSMAN70003, the 10/58 are a snowmobile weight, ther have a lot heavier toe on them that make the weight fly out at a lot harder rate. they are both a 58 gram weight but the 20 are for the quads that make less horesepower than the sleds.

 

rmkcac700 I have put the 10- 58 weights in and fill a little better, top speed is still 45-50mph, comes off the line good but still does not hit the rev-limiter.

 

what is the max rpm ur at. U may have to take off the belt cover,make a black markwer mark onthe face of the primary and see how far ur wiping ot off at. this tells u how much shift ur getiing.

 

the belt is leaves a 1/4" of marker left on the clutch, the rpm is 5500
