I INSTALLED SOME NEW HEADLIGHTS TODAY. THE ARE BIGGER THAN STOCK LIGHTS. THEY ARE BAJA STYLE LIGHTS. EVEN CAME WITH COVERS. I POSTED SOME PICTURES ON MY PICTURE PAGE.

AWESOME!!!

I've been looking to upgrade my lights and those look as if they might be just the ticket. Can you tell me more about them........wattage/type (hallogen/HID etc...) and where to get them. I also like your gauges AND your tow hitch. I've also been considering getting the tow hitch that Cabellas sells.

THE LIGHTS ARE 55 WATTS WITH H3 HALOGEN BULBS. THEY DO SEEM BRIGHTER THAN THE STOCK LIGHTS. I REALLY HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO TEST THEM OUT. I GOT THEM AT WALLEY WORLD (WALMART) FOR $20.00 THE GAUGES I GOT AT AUTO ZONE FOR $30.00 AND THEY WERE SIMPLE TO INSTALL. THE TOE HITCH I MADE FROM SCRAP LAYING AROUND THE GARAGE.

Thanks Carpenter

I'm going to check them out. The stock ones on my machine are 27 watts and I've been wanting to upgrade to 55 watts units. I was hoping to get new bulbs to fit into the existing housing but haven't been able to tract down direct replacement bulbs. I think I'll probably just end up retrofitting the entire units like you did.

Did the new light housings fit right up to mountings on your machine without any big deal??? Did you end up cutting/splicing your wires to adapt them with new connectors that pulg into the bulbs???

I HAD TO MAKE SOME NEW BRACKETS FOR THE LIGHTS. I USED A RELAY FROM RADIO SHACK TO POWER THE LIGHTS SO ALL THE POWER IS NOT RUNNING THRU THE SWITCH AND OVERLOAD IT SINCE I PUT THE THREE HEADLIGHT CONVERSION ON IT. THE BOTTOM LIGHTS ARE DRAWING POWER FROM THE BATTERY. I USED THE STOCK LIGHT WIRES TO TRIP THE RELAY.
