Default Sportsman 800 front spring interchangeable?

Sportsman 800 front springs interchangeable?

I plan on putting a set of 27-inch 589 ITP’s on my 04 700 Sportsman. I have read that some people are using 1.5-inch spacers between the springs and strut. I was wondering if there is another alternative to do this?

Apparently the 800 front springs are larger (longer), does anyone know if this spring can be compressed and put on a 700 strut without problems? I was thinking added spring length might achieve the same result as spring spacers. Has anyone tried this yet?

You might try some of these. I don't know if the 800 will work or not.

Thanks, for the link!

Any luck finding out if the 800 clutch will work on your 700 yet?

Your welcome anytime, I haven't really looked into the 800 clutch any further. I just read on another fourm someone was talking to the dealer about the 800 clutch and thought someone on here might know something about it.
