Default prime oil pump?

I changed the oil in my scrammy this weekend and also pulled the screen and cleaned it. After that when I started it the motor seemed to be alittle more noisy, do I prime the oil pump??

Yes, if you cleaned the screen for the return in the oil tank, the oil pump must be primed.

Take a pair of needle nose pliers or something like it and pinch the hose going into the top of the oil tank. You want to pinch it about two or three inches from the tank. You will see a slit in the hose. You want your pliers to be on the motor side of this slit not the tank side. While pinched start the quad up a run it for about 30 seconds to a minute. Let go of the pliers and you should hear it relieve air with a swish sound like if you pressed the air valve on a tire. If you don't hear it repeat the steps. If you still don't hear it it may have self primed.
