Well I went ahead and picked up the newer style seat for my Scrambler. My dealer gave me a very good deal on one. To let you know how good of a dealer they are. I was going on a three day trip to the dunes last week and the seat was not due in for a few days. They took one off of one of the machines still in the crate so I could have the seat for my trip. Just plain old good guys there. Also for those interested the newer seats are almost 2 full pounds lighter as well.

 

That's a good idea, I sometimes put my seat off my 250 on the 400 and go for a ride. Much more comfortable too, what do the new seats cost??

 

I tihnk they list for 209 or so. I got mine for 190.

They are so much better its unreal!

 

Most inquiries I've made in the past have resulted in prices around $220. This Place Discount Polaris parts has one for about $197 with shipping. My dealer beat them by $22. I am pleased with how it all turned out. I could not have bought it any other way.

I ride with someone that has done this and he just loves the newer style seat.

 

I got mine from PolarisOEMParts.com I went up to there store to pick it up. My dealer wouldn't come close to their price, so I got it from them.
