Anyone ever ride with an MP3 Player? I've got an I River with around 200 song capability that is about the size of a cigarette lighter. I'm plannning on using the goggle strap to clamp it behind my helmet around the neckline and have ordered speakers for my helmet. Click and go! is my plan. Too much distraction maybe?

 

Perhaps too much distraction .. perhaps not. Every ATV Video I've ever seen usually has metal screaming to the point that you can't hear the quad .. yet they still ride [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] so I don't see that an MP3 player giving you music in your helmet would be much different. I think it could possibly pump you up to either extending your riding capabilities or perhaps even push you beyond your limits if you're driving to the beat of a good song with all the adrenaline pumping and stuff ... just a thought ...

 

let me know how you like the helmet speakers, I have a rio and have been thinking of doing the same thing. I don;t think it will be a distraction, I find myself humming the same metallica song at high speads and it has to be less distraction then that. lol

 

I rode a couple times with my Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word  but decided I don't like it...Kinda weird not hearing the machine.
