Clutch Help!

Well i was putting a polaris brown primary with 55gr. weights in my mod tblazer and i took it for a ride and it was horrible!! So i brought it back into the shop and swapped everything with a polaris yellow with 53 gr. weights hoping it would be the right setup but i was wrong on that too, being as bad as the first setup, even the stock spring worked better. So i took the heavier weights out and replaced them with the stock ones and put the stiffer brown spring in and "Wow" did that help. It had a ton of bottom and mid but then i lost my top end. Before it was okay bottom, no mid, and alot of top when/if it got there being it was down on rpm's. So now what, I was thinkin about going even stiffer with the spring maybe a purple or clear because i am thinkin the brown spring is too stiff at a 1.25-1.19 compressed stage for it to kick in on top or maybe i just need lighter weights then 53 but heavier then stock. And another problem i'm having is it's not backshifting quick at all, it takes about 10-15 seconds for it to go back down to an idle. I am thinking it needs a different secondary but not sure what one. Also Does anybody know what grams the stock tblazer weights are.

Stay with the brown primary go with the S55 weights go with a gold polaris secondary spring set at 2-2.If you loose your low end go with a set of S58 weights.The lighter you go withthe weights the more rpms you will need to get moving.The heavier you go the more lowend power you will have and it brings down the engament of your spring too as does the stiffer secondary spring along with better backshift. Do you have a tach or are you just trying differant set ups in the dark?

No, i got these setups from Bubba. I hope a secondary will help because the brown with 55 weights was horse sh**. I mean it had nothing to give. I was thinking about experimenting with a polaris red with 53 or 55 weights to give it a little more pop.

What I have in our TB works great.red/yellow primary,gold secondary,S58 weights.It lack bottom end but you have to give up a little to gain a bunch on the top.
