My wifes job may require us to move to Richmond VA in six months. Are there any ATV groups or ATV trails in the Richmond area that I could check out? Thanks.

That's the only one I know of here locally. You pretty much have to travel 45 minutes to an hour to get somewhere good to ride. I've emailed ATV VA and they seem pretty nice. I've yet to get involved with them, however I do plan to soon.

Thanks MWfromVA. That is just what I was looking for. You guys look like you are having an awsome time. If we do end up moving to va I will definately look your club up. Thanks. Our local group (not really a club) have about 8-10 riders but usually only 4-5 ever show up with any regularity. We still have lots of fun. Last fall we went to Windrock. Great ride. There three days. We will be doing it again this fall. Maybe we'll meet up on a trail sometime. Thanks again for the website.

Im down here in Virginia Beach. There are a few tracks just on the other side of the NC line. Also there is a dirt drag just out side of surry county. But its one weekend a month, thats if there still doing it. I havent been up there since last season. I have been here for 3 years and im still looking for a good place to ride. All the places I have been we get kicked out after a few hours. Besides the MX tracks.
Let me know if you find any good clubs though.

 

Hawkeye, what happened to the race on the beach this year? do you think they will ever have another? I go to surry a couple of times during the summer for the dirt drags. I have heard that they are going to open the trail system back up too.

 

Surry opened up the tracks and trails. They are drag racing on the 24th, I'll be there.

 

I dont know what happen to the race on the beach. This was going to be my first year to see it. I never heard why it didnt happen. IMO it might have been the 700 club. They seem to throw there weight around in this town. So alot of things get swept under the rug at the last minute.

 

Ubetrun, I wont be making the trip to surry this weekend. too busy rite now. Maybe Ill c ya down there in May or June
