Good question....I didn't think about what you said before and that pertains to the 1.25" you mentioned. The 04.5's did not have any receiver mount. The frame was "plumbed" for the addition of a hitch ball only. The Cabelas receiver utilizes that hole as well as another maybe 2" further back on the "tongue" that is part of the frame. I have not seen an 05 yet so I'm not familar with the configuration you have. It sounds as though you may need to customize something to work around the existing mount that was supplied on your ride. I'll have to go look at an 05 and see what they're all about.
