Default ANY IDEAS

Heres whats happining i was riding my 04 500 ho in the yard after i did the oil change when i took a turn my keys got wedged and turned the quad off when i went to restart it it gave me a real hard time restarting ever since it won't idle to good i tried adjusting it and when i go to give it gas when i first start it it just dies kinda like a clogged fuel filte (i changed it so it has a new filter on it ) i also drained all the gas and filled it with new gas any ideas

It could be your ETC on the throttle have you checked it?

Its the eletronic throttle control and tells if the throttle hangs open and if it does it will kill the atv. You should have a little slack in your cable if it don't you can adjust it down a few inches from the throttle control. Undo the boot in the cable and adjust it to have a little slack. You can also take the cover off the ETC and make sure the contacts are open if they are your ok.

Also so you know don't adjust your throttle until your engine has been warmed up for some time. I was having problems with my idle and My friend finaly told me that, so after it was good and warmed up I adjusted it to just the way I wanted it and its been fine every since.

Ill give it a try thanks so all i have to do is check /adj the throttle cable
