You should not mix and match brands because each pipe has a certain powerband and the clutch kit matches the powerband of the pipe. If you mix them you will not get the full performance of the pipes powerband.

Yes you have to rejet the carb. It is really easy. If you do not rejet then you WILL burn up a piston or worse.

Why the HSP kit. The HPD powermax gives better performance. The HSP kit is around $600. Thats alot more than HPD,.

kind of a dumb question, but what would happen if i cut off part of the rear pipe and put a stock 400ex rear pipe on? im currently rebuilding mine and planning to sell it.

You would destroy the pipe because it is a 1 piece design and the way it is put together would be hard to fabricate something to work.

Hey guys - I can save someone here a killer $.

I just bought a Trailblazer with a Hot Seat Perf pipe/can all in one. It is too loud for us old folks and I want to trade for stock parts. If my clutching is diff than stock I want to trade that too. And main jet too I spect.

I don't know what stock is - so I would have to compare weights and springs and jet sizes.

I want it done by thursday as we are heading to a group ride fri morn, and will be contacting grave yards monday morning if I don't have something in the works before that.

The closer you are to the Great Lakes the better.
