Default Anyone have the soft Warn winch cover?

Anyone have this cover?

I want to get for my 3.0ce but am concerned there isn't enough room for it to cover winch with it mounted in bumper. It seems like this may be for an externally mounted setup.

I've e-mailed Warn as well to find out. Montana Jacks says it will fit the 3.0 but it only mentions the 2.5 on Warn's website.

Thanks!

I've got a Warn soft cover, but it's mounted on my Scrambler. It protects the winch good. Check out my pics, it's on there.

I seriously doubt that it would fit with the winch mounted inside the Sportsman standard front bumper mounting hole. I have a Ramsey 3000 and there is no way I could install that cover. The power wire connections terminals are the tightest area of all with zero room on top and only about 1/16" on the bottom.......but it's tight all around and that cover you linked to looks bulky. I used the KFI one-piece mount which does not wrap around the front of the winch like the standard Polaris mount ........but it doesn't matter because my terminals are just too tight. You may want to look at the covers that are more like a thin synthetic material "sock". Maybe it will fit yours. I know it won't fit mine because the terminals are just too tight.

Good Luck, Bob

I'm thinking I might try this cheap one out from Cabelas. I don't ride in deep creeks or mud here so it will probably be fine without anything. Thanks for the info.

$49 for a fabric cover with a "Warn" label on it? I guess mine will stay out in the elements.

I've decided against the vinyl Warn version but I might try out the $20.00 Cabela's model. Who knows..I might decide to go with no cover by tomorrow. It does seem like it might be more hassle that it is worth for the recessed bumper mount.

if you get in the mud and water I would think its just going to fill up and hold the moisture inside

I bought cover from Cabelas. I installed it and that was a job, Had to remove the winch from the front of my Sportsman. I got it in there and it looked great. The first time I used my winch it caught the material and just shredded the cover. I called Cabela to see what they would do,not expecting much satisfaction. They were great they immediately credited my acount for the full price including the freight and told me not to worry about sending the torn cover back. Outstanding customer service.

Thanks for the info! This pretty well seals it. No cover for mine. :-)
