Boring the cyl. that little bit wil add little or no power but the carb will make a huge differance they work very well if they are set up right if you are going to get on emake sure it comes set-up so you don't have to test it for hwhom ever you bought it from.

boring just to get more power isn't worth doing, it won't give you anything except a fresh rebuild. if your compression is low enough to warrant a rebuild then by all means, bore it. that will only give you back stock compression and power. porting on the other hand coupled to a pipe, clutch, and carb will do alot. only bore the jug enough for the rebuild, anything bigger and your just shortening the amount of times it can be bored before you have to resleeve the cylinder.

Hey Steve, I promise if you come down this year we will get together and ride somewhere.

On the trailblazer, one word will add more power than anything else......PORTING, of course you can compliment other thinfgs to make the most of it. You wont sacrifice any reliability either. Bubba

thanks for the invite bubba, unfortunately i probably won't be back unless i go there for a couple of years. i have done all of the schools that i can that they have in littlerock. the scrammy is up for sale if you didn't see my sig. i neded something that would fly a little higher and put-put around with the wife on her tb. i tried to talk her into the scrambler but it would be too much for her, oh well. i'd love to hit the ozark trails again but on the pred.
